Mississippi Comes Off the Board
According to Press Secretary Margaret McPhillips, Sen. Thad Cochran is running for reelection. This race is all over but the crying. Cochran, a member of the old guard, is not my favorite Republican Senator, but at this point, this is good news. He’s a big spender, but he’s generally conservative otherwise and doesn’t go out of his way to obstruct a conservative agenda. It is definitely a good thing that Democrats have one fewer target this cycle.
