Another Reason to Keep Barbara Boxer in the Minority

With tensions boiling over in the Middle East and a possible military conflict between Israel and Egypt in Gaza, it is worth asking whether the United States can afford to take a craps shoot on Democrat control of either house of Congress.  The Democrats´ “solution” to the current fiscal responsibility in Washington is to downsize, but only the military.  They have shown the country that their approach to serious problems is to throw in the towel and give the terrorists their way.  They are not serious about protecting American interests and will do all they can to undermine the US Military.

The United States will not be on the sidelines of a war in the Middle East no matter who is in charge.  The question then becomes whether Congress and the President will give the troops the support they need to defeat the bad guys, or simply throw in the towel and let Hamas and their fellow terrorists dictate American policy.  The difference between the two parties, unfortunately frequently obscured on domestic issues, is abundently clear here.

Votes on cutting and running from Iraq must not pass in the US Congress.  If Democrats control it, though, they will.  Funding for the military must not be diminished at this dangerous time.  If Democrats control Congress, it will be.  The United States government must work to improve intelligence, not work to hamper its intelligence-gathering efforts.  If Democrats control Congress, they will do all they can to impede such efforts.  If anyone you know is considering sitting out this November, just ask them if they´d sleep well at night with more Senators who think like Barbara Boxer and Michael Moore.
